10 Things You Didn’t Know About Giuliana Rancic

Giuiliana Rancic touched us this week when she came forward disclosing that she had been diagnosed with the early stages of breast cancer.  Her bravery is to be commended as Giuiliana could have dealt with her personal tragedy with just her family.  However, her transparency to help women through her personal pain is what makes us love her even more.  Women who empower other women are pure phenomenons.  Loren’s World wishes Giuiliana a speedy recovery.  In her honor, here are ten things that you didn’t know about Giuiliana Rancic.

 1 -Giuiliana was born in Naples, Itaty.  She moved to the states when she was a little girl.

 2 -Giuili learned to speak English by watching television.

 3 – She has a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Maryland and a Master’s degree in Journalism from the American University.

 4- Guiliana was a correspondent for E! News in 2002.  In 2005, she became the solo anchor and Managing Editor for the entertainment news show.

 5- Her first book, Think Like A Guy: How to Get a Guy By Thinking Like One was published in 2006.

 6- You and I productions is Guiliana and Bill’s production company which produces their hit show on “Style” Network.

 7- Her E! News Special “Nicole Richie: Her Simple Life” won a Prism Commendation Award.  Giuliana was the Executive Producer, Writer, and host of this special.

 8- She is a weekly fashion contributor for Ok! Magazine.

 9- FabFitFun is her new website that offers beauty, health, and wellness tips.

10- She is also on the board of directors for NIAF (National Italian American Foundation), as well as a member of AWRT (American Women in Radio and Television).
