2019 is about to be the best year ever! Don’t believe me? Read on to make 2019 everything you want it to be. Make your goals, stick to them and make this the best year ever. You deserve it.
10 Ways to Make the New Year the Best Year Ever
- Learn from your mistakes but don’t repeat them. When you learn from your past, you grow.
- Review the past year and see where you could improve, but also celebrate those wins. Look over the obstacles that you faced and any regrets that you had.
- Finish those unfinished projects. As 2018 comes to a close, make an inventory of those projects that you started but never finished.
- Write down your goals. I have a goals notebook that helps me stay ahead of my goals and what I’d like to get done in the new year. Every day I journal about how I’ve gotten closer to those said goals.
- Surround yourself with new people. I always talk about my friends because they inspire me more than they know. If you’re feeling stagnant in your life, it’s probably because you’re not getting out of your comfort zone and meeting new people.
- Exercise. Make working out a part of your lifestyle this year. Start by hitting the gym three times a week and then work your way up to 5 times a week. Take the weekend off! It’s important to have rest days. Once you make exercise a part of your lifestyle, you’ll see how healthy and happy you feel,
- Cut out relationships that aren’t working for you. There are a lot of negative people in this world. When you’re working on yourself and your business, they all seem to come out of the woodwork with something to say. You have enough going on without outside sources coming in to question you. Have the strength to cut out those negative people and live your truth.
- Be accountable. I believe in resting and not being hard on yourself, but I also believe in accountability and holding yourself to a certain standard. Things won’t improve unless you do. Stop blaming yourself and instead work harder to get things done. I know you can do it.
- Start with the big picture. Where do you see yourself by the end of 2019? In a new car? Buying a house? Taking that dream trip? Finishing that book? When working on your goal list, start with the big picture, baby!
- Have fun! It’s not always about goal-making and working hard. Enjoy the little things this year! You deserve to enjoy your time with family and friends.
