What an amazing and magical night we had at Duane Mclaughlin’s “Ready To Live” album release party in Chelsea Piers. Sponsored by Market America, it benefits the New York Police and Fire Widow and Children’s Fund that was hosted by no other than my daughter Amber. I am so proud of Amber she looked gorgeous and so did her fiance Duane Mclaughlin and what a beautiful couple they are!

The night started around 6pm on Utopia III, VIP’s, editors, family, and friends gathered for a pre-mixer cocktail. Around 8pm guests headed to Chelsea Piers ballroom and were treated to a special performance by Duane Mclaughlin. Guests enjoyed Duane’s performance from his new album “Ready to Live.” Among the guests included notables like: Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, Kris Humphries, Scott Disick, Jacob the Jeweler, Russell Simmons, Omarion, Kylie Jenner, Jonathan Cheban, Simon Huck, Angie Martinez, and Benny Medina.
Duane named his record “Ready To Live” because he wanted to know that no matter what obstacle might have come in your way or hardship you might have dealt with, that life is not over. “My passion lies on helping others.” The New York City Police and Fire Widows and Children Benefit fund relates not only to my album, but to of hope and enhances the call for help.”
When asked about his album release party he says, “prayer works! I know this because my prayer has been answered.”
