Tonight marks the end of an era as hitmaker TV show American Idol says farewell for good. After fifteen seasons, the show that launched the careers of names like Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Adam Lambert, and Jennifer Hudson finally closes the chapter on years of talent searches across the country. Among unforgettable judges like creator Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul, and Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez will be saying a special farewell to the institution with new music, a single titled “I Ain’t Your Mama.”
Jennifer teased the new music on Instagram showing off these incredible photos for the new single. She also played a snippet in a quick video (below) mouthing the words, “I ain’t gonna cook all day, I ain’t your mama. I ain’t gonna do your laundry, I ain’t your mama. Boy, I ain’t your mama.” Much like her other songs, it’s the kind of beat that gets into you and makes you want to move.
