Big Wins at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards
Before we get to the full recap, let’s talk about the major highlight of the night: When Meryl Streep received a Lifetime Achievement Award. Between the incredible into to Streep’s achievements and career by Viola Davis to the beautiful montage of her work over the years – no one outshined the moment like Streep herself when she gave an impassioned acceptance speech. No matter if you agree with Streep’s political viewpoints or not, she left viewers with one truth that resonates with all of us, “Disrespect invites disrespect, violence incites violence.” And, isn’t that the truth?
