I hope Bradley Cooper enjoyed his last day yesterday as People’s Sexiest Man Alive because the magazine announced its new favorite for 2012: Channing Tatum! Channing Tatum’s Sexiest Man Alive honor doesn’t come as a huge surprise, considering the press he received earlier this year for his portrayal of a male stripper with Matthew McConaughey in the movie Magic Mike.

Channing Tatum is married to Jenna Dewan, whom the 32-year-old actor met on the set of Step Up back in 2006. She told the magazine of her husband, “people know him to be fun and sexy, but they don’t know how emotionally deep and spiritually open he is. He is such an open-hearted person; what you see is what you get.”
