I love a relatable comic or a hilariously honest illustration. It reminds me not to sweat the small stuff and that the stresses of womanhood are felt all around. I like finding new illustrators and artists for this reason, especially females ones. They always have something to say that I can totally agree with. I often find myself laughing along to some of the things that these ladies have to say. If you’re interested in some of my favorite illustrators then check them out below. Gemma Correll- Gemma Correll always has something to say whether it’s about her dogs or just her random thoughts on badges she wishes she could have for being an adult. She’s funny and says exactly what we’re all thinking.
Oana Voitovici- Oana has some sweet, quirky designs that remind me of Jessica Day from New Girl. Check out my favorite below of an extra fishy cat.
Cindy Mangomini- Cindy illustrates fashion elements in a way that’s totally unique. She put together some of Alexa Chung’s style staples in the image below!
Maritza Lugo- Martiza has a style all her own and speaks to my feminist side. Her illustrations can be sassy or, sometimes, they speak to the sentiments and feelings that we all share.
Valfre- Valfre is huge now and it’s almost no surprise! Her illustrations are sexy and relatable while also funny. She’s smart and her illustrations speak to a lot of women.
