Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are back with even more fun with the “Daddy’s Home” sequel, set to hit theaters on November 10. This time around, they will both be joined by their respective dads played by veteran actors Mel Gibson and John Lithgow. A newly released trailer shows dad and stepdad as they prepare to spend the holidays together. Much to their surprise, their respective fathers join in on the fun.
FIRST LOOK: “Daddy’s Home” 2 Trailer
The scene at the airport really sets the scene for what audiences can expect. Ferrell’s character Brad Whitaker, might remind you of one of his most beloved characters Buddy from “Elf.” Early on, he even admits to having a man-crush on Wahlberg’s Dusty Mayron’s dad!
“Dear God,” Whitaker says when he gets his first glimpse of Dusty’s dad Kurt. “This is going to come off weird Dusty, but he’s beautiful.”
The quad will tackle big issues with the kids including young love, cutting down the perfect Christmas tree and a violent Nativity Scene. Check out the trailer below:
