Funny lady Ellen DeGeneres has done it again: she’s managed to put a smile on practically everyone’s face but this time via a collaboration with Gap Kids. The collection, called GapKids x ED, is a gender neutral line with a focus on classic, comfortable pieces represented by six girls, each with their own unique talent: skateboarding, building robots, and drumming are just a few. At the heart of it, the collaboration hopes to empower girls (and boys) to do what makes them happy.
Gap said in a statement that their project with Ellen DeGeneres aims to “encourage girls everywhere to be themselves, do what makes them happy and take pride in who they are.” As part of that effort, Gap has just cast their first model with Down’s syndrome, Kayla Kosmalski. The GapKids x ED collection is now available to shop online. Each purchase will contribute to their goal of donating $250,000 to Girls, Inc. To learn more about ED by Ellen DeGeneres, click here.
