It was pretty exciting to see recent headlines that Janet Jackson had become a mom – how incredible! It’s so fun to hear stories of anyone becoming a mom for the first time and when the baby is also a gift of the New Year, what could be better? I’m thrilled for Janet and her husband – here are a few highlights of the beautiful birth. You can also check out E! News for the full scoop.
Here’s what E! had to say:
After ringing in the New Year by giving birth to her first child, son Eissa Al Manna, on Jan. 3, the songstress is settling into life as a fresh family of three.
“Janet is getting her strength back and feeling well,” a source told E! News. “She has so much help around her, so that has alleviated stress. She just feels so blessed everything went well and her baby is healthy. It was not an easy pregnancy at all.”
Here’s an update Janet sent fans via social media during the pregnancy:
At 50 years old, having a baby is a complete miracle and Janet and her husband, Wissam Al Mana are over the moon. The “brand new mom and icon is “totally in love.” According to E! News, “While Janet felt ‘sluggish’ during her pregnancy and was under doctor’s orders to rest,” as sources previously told E! News, Jackson managed to have a “stress-free, healthy delivery” thanks to her doctors.
Thanks to great doctors and making her health a priority, mom and baby are doing great. Isn’t that just the most wonderful news? “She has some of the best doctors that helped her through it,” E!’s insider added, also revealing that little Eissa looks just like his famous mama. “The baby looks like Janet in so many ways with a touch of her man. She is totally in love. She is taking time to just be with her baby at this time and that’s all she really wants.”
The world is so excited and ready to meet little baby Eissa, I cannot wait to see photos! Can you? “This was always her wish to have a child,” said E! News’ source. “She is so excited to watch her baby grow.”
Big thanks to E! News for this great update and congrats to Janet and Wissam on their growing family – what a blessing!
