VIDEO: Jodi Arias Pleads for Life in Prison

[UPDATE] Jodi Arias took the stand to ask the jury for life in prison instead of the death penalty. Jodi claims she can contribute to society while still in prison by starting a recycling program, donating to Locks of Love and teaching foreign language to other inmates. She never said she was sorry for the murder of Travis Alexander.

[UPDATE] Jodi Arias is found guilty of extreme cruelty, which makes her eligible for the death penalty.

[UPDATE] The jury’s unanimous vote in the Jodi Arias murder trial is in. Jodi Arias is found guilty in the first degree.

The live murder trial that has captivated America has finally reached a verdict today after 15 hours of deliberation. 32-year-old Jodi Arias has been on trial since January for the murder of her boyfriend Travis Alexander, whom she killed in June of 2008 at his home in Arizona.

Jodi originally told police that masked intruders shot Travis in the head and stabbed him nearly 30 times, however she changed her story two years later after being arrested, citing self-defense.
