E! Reality TV star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian splurges on Liz Taylor’s diamond jade bangles. On Tuesday afternoon Kim paid $64,900 for a set of Lorraine Schwartz bangles. Designer Lorraine Schwartz said Taylor wore the white, black, and lavender bangles nearly everyday, particularly in the latter part of her life. She also said that Kardashian was going to buy those same bangles directly from her but really wanted the pair that Taylor actually wore.
“Elizabeth Taylor was an idol of mine and I’m honored to now own something from her collection.” Kardashian, 31 tells Us Weekly. ” The Lorraine Schwartz jade bracelets are special because jade transfers energy, so I will cherish these bracelets with her energy in them for the rest of my life!”
She added, “Elizabeth Taylor is ironic. She is my idol and my icon.”
