Randi, who joined Facebook during its early stages to help her brother Mark, left in 2011 to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Now the founder and CEO of Zuckerberg Media, she is launching her first reality TV show and has told Forbes that the show was created to capture the “real, authentic Silicon Valley.”
Randi Zuckerberg’s New Show “Silicon Valley” On Bravo Looks To Capture The City’s Authenticity
Although Randi will not be making any cameos, she also told Forbes it was important for her to draw on her experiences as accurately as possible and give viewers an inside look of the real Silicon Valley world. Zuckerberg also admits that she wasn’t pushing for any long hours of engineers coding, instead she wanted to show the personal dynamics, the real challenges of creating a start-up in Silicon Valley and also a way to attract more women in the tech industry. As a co-founder of an online shopping company, I’m really excited to see how the show develops and hope series is a real life-lesson for all aspiring start-up companies in the business.
