Summer is a great time for families to head to the movies. There are so many options for kids of all ages, that you might find yourself spending many weekends at your local cinema. There are a few movies that I have my eye on this month, so I’m breaking down the top 5 for you below.
#1. The Secret Life of Pets– Now that I’m a grandmother, I look forward to fun animated films that the little ones can enjoy. If you’ve ever wondered what your four-legged best friends are doing when you leave the house, wonder no more!
Opens on July 8.
#2. The Infiltrator- Bryan Cranston is playing the opposite of “Breaking Bad’s” Walter White in “The Infiltrator.” He stars as real-life U.S. Customs agent Robert Mazur. Thanks to Mazur’s bravery, he helped bring down a lot of bad guys.
Opens in theaters on July 13.
#3. Ghostbusters– There’s been a lot of talk about the all female cast of the “Ghostbusters” reboot, and I’m all about it. The lead actresses Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones are hilarious and I can’t wait to see what they all get into.
Watch out ghosts, they ain’t afraid of you!
Opens in theaters on July 15.
#4. Star Trek Beyond– The loss of Anton Yelchin will be on everyone’s mind with the release of “Star Trek Beyond.” He was great as Chekov and he will be missed. I’ll be there watching him and the rest of the crew do it all again together one last time.
Opens in theaters on July 22.
#5. Bad Moms– As rewarding a job as being a mom is, sometimes you just have to be bad. Especially when you have to deal with those perfect moms who think they never do anything wrong. Mila Kunis takes on Christina Applegate and Jada Pinkett Smith in “Bad Moms.”
Opens In theaters on July 29.
