With the New Year just around the corner, it feels right to pay tribute and give credit to the trailblazing women who made headlines this year. From the boardroom to politics and even entertainment, we’ve seen some incredible women dominating headlines, business, the big screen – you name it – and I couldn’t be more impressed.
Some of these awesome ladies are personal friends and some I have never had the pleasure of meeting, but they all have a few things in common: they’re bold, creative and do not let anything get in their way of going after a passion. Let’s take a look at the most trailblazing women of 2016.
The Most Trailblazing Women of 2016
Hilary Clinton broke down barriers and broke the mold when she raced to become the next U.S. President. No matter what your political views may be, as women we have to be proud that she saw her dream and went after it.

My good friend Leah Remini stood up against the Church of Scientology in her new documentary series, Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath.
Michelle Obama continued to pave her way as First Lady and even joined forces with stars like Missy Elliot at South x Southwest to show young people just how important it is to find your passion and go after it.

Melania Trump stood by Donald Trump’s side as he campaigned against Hilary Clinton in the most heated U.S. Presidential race in history. She held her head high – no matter what. And, that’s pretty incredible. She will be the second foreign-born First Lady in history (via Wikipedia).
