All the Best Rum Summer Cocktails
Hemingway Daiquiri by Saveur via El Floridita Bar
Ingredients:
2 oz Agricole rum, preferably St. George
¾ oz fresh lime juice
½ oz fresh grapefruit juice
½ oz maraschino liqueur
½ oz simple syrup
Maraschino cherries, for garnish
Directions:
Combine rum, juices, liqueur, and syrup in ice-filled shaker; shake. Strain over crushed ice into a cocktail glass; garnish with cherries.
Frozen Brunch Punch by Half Baked Harvest
Ingredients:
2 ½ cups orange juice
2 cups Campari
1 cup white rum
½ cup lime juice
1-inch piece fresh ginger, grated
Ice
Limes, pineapple slices, and edible flowers, for serving (optional)
Directions:
In a large pitcher, combine the orange juice, Campari, rum and lime juice. Chill until ready to serve. When ready to serve, transfer the drink to a blender. Add the pineapple chunks, ginger, and enough ice to come halfway up the blender. Pulse until smooth. If needed, add ice to get a slushy constancy. Pour into glasses and garnish as desired. Drink!
Hurricane by BACARDí
Ingredients:
2 oz BACARDí BLACK Rum
1 ½ oz BACARDí Superior Rum
2 oz orange juice
1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
1 oz passion fruit syrup
1 tsp grenadine syrup
Directions:
Shake all ingredients vigorously with plenty of ice. Next, strain into a tulip glass filled with ice and garnish with a lemon wheel, orange peel, and a cherry.
Dark and Stormy by The Spruce Eats
Ingredients:
2 oz Gosling’s Black Seal Rum
3 oz ginger beer (Barritt’s)
½ oz lime juice, fresh (optional)
Lime wedge (for garnish)
Directions:
Build the ingredients in a highball glass filled with ice cubes. Garnish with the lime wedge.
Rum Sunset by Delish
Ingredients:
12 oz orange juice
3 oz light rum
2 tbsp grenadine
Lime slices, for garnish
Directions
Combine orange juice and rum. Set aside ⅓ of the mixture. Pour ⅔ of the orange juice mixture into 2 ice-filled glasses. Set aside. Mix reserved orange juice and rum with 2 tbsp grenadine. Slowly pour into each glass so it settles on the bottom, creating an ombré effect. Garnish with lime slices.
