Classic Sangria

Ingredients:

1 orange, halved and cut into ¼-inch slices
1 Granny Smith apple, cored and cut into 1-inch pieces
¼ cup brandy
4 cups (32 oz) chilled lemon-lime soda
1 lime, thinly sliced crosswise
1 cup green grapes, halved
1 bottle (750 ml) dry red wine
Ice

Directions:

In a pitcher or large bowl, combine orange, lime, apple, grapes, brandy, and red wine. Stir to combine and refrigerate 1 hour (or overnight). To serve, add soda and ice.

Sparkling Hard Apple Cider Sangria

Ingredients:

1 bottle white wine
1 red apple, sliced
1 pear, sliced
1 cinnamon stick (optional)
2-12 oz cans hard apple cider

Directions:

Add wine, fruit, and cinnamon stick into a large pitcher then chill. Just before serving, slowly stream in hard apple cider then serve.

Sparkling White Peach Sangria

Ingredients:

2 to 3 medium white peaches, sliced, divided
¾ cup peach or apricot brandy
1 750 ml bottle Moscato wine
1-liter peach seltzer water, chilled
Ice

Directions:

Place ¾ of the sliced peaches and brandy in a pitcher and gently muddle. Add the Moscato and seltzer water. Stir with a wooden spoon to mix. Pour into ice-filled glasses and top with a couple of fresh peach slices.

Cucumber-Melon White Sangria

Ingredients:

1 bottle dry white wine
½ small honeydew or cantaloupe, peeled and sliced or diced
¼ seedless cucumber, sliced, plus more for garnish
½ lime, sliced, plus more for garnish
4 mint leaves
Splash of juice, Limoncello or Midori (if desired)
Club soda or sparkling water

Directions:

Mix all ingredients except for club soda in a pitcher or punch bowl. Refrigerate 2-4 hours, removing the mint about 30 minutes in. Pour sangria into glasses over ice (if desired) and top off with a splash of sparkling water or club soda. Garnish with cucumber and/or lime slices.

Pineapple Sangria

Ingredients:

1 750 ml bottle Vinho Verde wine
¼ 750 ml bottle pineapple rum
½ cup simple syrup
¼ pineapple, peeled, cored and cut into chunks
1 large lime, sliced
½ cup fresh basil leaves

Directions:

Place all ingredients in a large pitcher and stir to combine. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Stir before serving over ice.
