Artificially flavored popsicles with food coloring that dyes your tongue blue are so last year. Make way for a far more superior, elegant, and delicious refreshment this summer; strawberry champagne popsicles.
Oh Hello, Strawberry Champagne Popsicles!
If you’re not a fan of strawberries, you can pair the champagne with raspberries, peaches, or mango instead.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1 pint of ripe strawberries
2/3 cup champagne
1 sprig mint
Directions:
#1. Mix the water, mint, and sugar together in a small saucepan over medium heat.
#2. stir until the sugar dissolves. Switch off the heat. The dissolving sugar is now creating a syrup which gives the popsicles their yummy smooth texture.
#3. Remove the green tops from the strawberries and puree in a blender until completely smooth.
#4. Mix the sugar syrup, strawberries, and champagne with a whisk.
#5. Fill your popsicle molds and freeze until completely solid (minimum 2 hours).
