- Birchbox. Birchbox has blossomed over the past year. It has got to be (in my opinion) the one item of mail that I look forward to every month. Birchbox offers a 6-month subscription for $10 per month, a one year subscription, or a monthly subscription. Your first box will consist of about 5 products that are either fashion/beauty/food related, most are samples with one to two items being full-sized. This is unique because unlike other beauty subscriptions Birchbox never fails to make you excited for the time every month that you will receive your box, and often the brand will team up with other well-known designers or magazines in the fashion industry to create a collaboration box. This one is definitely worth your $10.
- GLOSSYBOX. GLOSSYBOX is very similar to Birchbox in the beauty subscription department, but what sets this box apart is the level of lines you will find in your box. The designers are more high-end and not as well known (think Burberry, AHAVA, Oscar Blande) so the prices of the products increase. This subscription is $21 per month, which is a bit steep for some, unless you are a beauty hog and willing to get your use out of the box. Last month GB teamed up with The Man Repeller to have a “Man Repelling” themed box, and that was the beginning of the collaborations with Glossy. We can’t wait to see what is next from this newer line!
- ChicShave. ChicShave definitely tops the list for one of the best and newest subscription products. A new and unique idea that is bound to be huge on the beauty market in a few months. Every woman hates having to constantly go to the pharmacy and purchase another 5 razors for $15, right? If that describes you, then ChicShave is the subscription you need to get your hands on. For $9 per month, you will get a razor of your choice (cute colors too!) and 2 individual cartridges that will be mailed to you monthly (in an adorable scented pink bag.) Every cartridge lasts 2 weeks- at least, so say you don’t shave as often during the winter, you will have cartridges left over for following months. This is a great deal and the razor works fabulously: super smooth and no razor bumps or cuts. No more running out to the store to buy another razor. Thank goodness.
- The Fancy. If you like Pinterest, the Fancy Box is definitely the one for you. Fancy is an app that you can download and it features awesome items you can share with your followers on the app and purchase yourself. Everything from candles to food and accessories, the app itself is neat. But then came the Fancy Box, which, for $39 per month will be delivered to your doorstep with an assortment of trinkets and goodies. Each box contains $80+ worth of products of categories of your choice. Whether you are a girly girl or total tomboy, or have a husband with a birthday coming up, Fancy Box customizes the box to your liking and will not disappoint.
