Wynwood Kitchen & Bar has quickly become Miami’s coolest spot to dine since opening in November 2010. Between the larger-than-life murals by Shepard Fairey (of Barack Obama “Hope” with a spin, this restaurant offers an environment worth reveling in. Guests can choose from a mix of small plates, priced at an affordable $7-$14, that includes a tasty Middle Eastern platter, delectable fried artichoke hearts, savory sausages with relishes, skewered meats with dipping sauces, juicy burgers, a memorable Philly cheese steak, as well as a delicious array of farm-to-table salads, sandwiches, and entrees, including the restaurant’s savory, signature stews served in individual clay pots.
The innovative brasserie has recently tapped tapped the world-famous street artists involved in creating the
restaurant’s stunning interiors and the surrounding murals at their art park, Wynwood Walls to develop a collection of cool cocktails. The result was an inspired menu of 17 mixed drinks with unexpected ingredients in artistic combinations
Beer and wine enthusiasts won’t be disappointed. The restaurant features 40 of the best international hand-crafted beers, six beers on draft, 20 reasonably priced superb wines by the glass, and a comprehensive wine list with a choice of 70 vintages, ranging from $22 – $200 per bottle. Classic cocktails, magnificent single malts, scotch whiskies and vodkas are also on offer.
Open for lunch and dinner, Monday – Saturday, Wynwood Kitchen & Bar is located at 2550 N.W. 2nd Avenue
in Miami’s Wynwood arts district. Happy Hour takes place every Friday, from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.; live music performances are offered Fridays, from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
