Big news for retailers out there! At the recent 2014 International CES trade show in Las Vegas, attendees learned about the new partnership between the mobile payment startup, Square, and Griffin technology to create a sweet new product. Known as the Merchant Case, and designed to secure the Square Reader when it’s in use, the case also provides a special compartment to store the credit-reader when not in use. The multi-functional must-have is available for the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s for just $19.99. The case makes it easier for merchants to use their Square credit-reader when they’re on the go – pretty much a dream accessory for many entrepreneurs.
Square also made a recent announcement, sharing their new credit-reader that boasts a slimmer design alongside some other great tools like “Business in a Box,” the latest solution to help merchants set up a modernized cash register.
