Summer is my favorite season! I love the warm weather, cold drinks and endless, relaxing family time. It makes my heart so full. Below are some of my favorite summer vacation ideas.
Loren’s Five: Summer Vacation Ideas
- SOLO TRIP–There is something so restorative about traveling by yourself. You can wake up when you like, eat breakfast at noon, wander around a city, have a cocktail at 3 pm and shop to your heart’s content. You can relax on the beach, read a book or go to a museum – and spend the time truly doing what YOU want.

- FAMILY TRIP–I love my family more than anything in this world. Traveling with them is my absolute favorite way to spend my summers. We recently went to the Cayman Islands and got to soak up the sun and swim in the crystal blue waters. It was heavenly.

- ROMANTIC TRIP–If you have a significant other, summer is the perfect time for a romantic getaway. JR and I took a beautiful trip to Italy and spent so much quality time talking and enjoying the beautiful food and scenery that the country has to offer. We came back rejuvenated and more in love than ever.

- MOTHER/DAUGHTER TRIP–My daughter Amber is my heart and my best friend. We have so much fun being together, especially when we travel. The perfect mother/daughter girls weekend for us is going to New York City for a delicious dinner followed by the latest and greatest Broadway play or sitting courtside at a New York Knicks game. We love the energy of the city and the endless fun things to do, and of course, spending time together.

- STAYCATION–Sometimes the best trip is the one you don’t take. Enjoy a week of fun activities around your house and in your city. Make a list of places you’ve never been before and explore the world around you. I promise you will be delighted by all of the magic that exists in your backyard. Watch movies with your family, make homemade popcorn and cozy up on the couch. Go jet skiing or take a nice, long walk on the beach if you live near the water. You are only limited by your imagination.
It seems like spring is already here… #miami #gorgeous
