When you’re on the road, you need a good book. Airports, backseats, trains and buses are quiet moments where you start new adventures separate from your own. While your resting on the beach or by the pool, crack open a new book to entertain yourself while enjoying your vacation. A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire Book One)– Add just that extra bit of adventure to your travels by starting the Game of Thrones series. Get immersed into a world that’s completely different from your own. Be careful, though. You might get too hooked onto all the Westeros drama. You’ve still got a train to catch!
Opening Belle– Crack open Opening Belle by Maureen Sherry for a look at what it’s like to be a woman on Wall Street. Belle is a sharp and witty character who tells all. People are saying that it’s a Wolf of Wall Street meets Little Red Riding Hood that’s sure to keep you entertained.
All the Light We Cannot See– If you’re into the historical fiction genre, then All the Light We Cannot See is the book for you. Set during World War II, this book follows two characters, a blind French girl who has been separated from her father and a soldier making his way through the war. It’s a sweet book full of a lot of heart and plenty of noteworthy detail, which is probably why it was a National Book Award winner. Check it out! It’s worth a read.
Me Before You- Me Before You by Jojo Moyes will really remind you what love is all about. If you love a good beach read, this is the book for you. It’s a romance full of a lot of heart. Read it and then watch the film starring Emilia Clarke coming to theaters soon!
