Seeing the world is on everyone’s bucket list. We all want to travel because it’s a great way to experience something different. Yet, when your bank account is low, that need to travel falls to the wayside and you end up forgetting about your dream of travel altogether. What if I told you that your dream could still be manageable even on a tighter budget? It’s all about the destination—a budget destination, that is. Where do you want to go? What do you want to see? Read on to find out my top budget destinations. Who knows? Maybe your dream destination is on the list. Check it out and be sure to comment down below. What’s your budget destination?
Croatia- If you’re looking to travel to Europe, why not make Croatia a stop on your list. Most people suspect that European travel is expensive, but Croatia proves that myth wrong. Because Croatia is in the process of joining the EU, the exchange rate is relatively low. This means you can enjoy the sites, food and accommodations on the less than what you’d expect.
Fiji- If you’re in the mood for a beach vacation, Fiji is where to go. Pacific Island destinations are usually a little over most people’s budgets, but Fiji is another story. Expect inexpensive guesthouses, transportation and activities while enjoying that Pacific Island paradise. Sounds like my kind of destination.
Cambodia- This Southeast Asia destination is a backpacker’s paradise. Enjoy the must-see Angkor Wok, visit gorgeous cities like Kampot, Kep and Siem, and dive into cheap eats at around 30-$40 a day! Yes please!
New Zealand- New Zealand offers incredible views, adventures and plenty of unforgettable moments. Visit cities like Auckland and Queenstown on a budget. The exchange rate is currently better for US travellers so now is the time to book your trip.
