I find that in times of disagreement we don’t listen to understand, we hear to respond. Take the time to listen to what the individual is telling you. You will be surprised to learn that the person giving you criticism may be informing you about something for your own good. Not all opinions about our behaviors or choices are harmful. Sometimes it takes someone from the outside looking in to reveal traits about you that you may not have noticed.
