As the saying goes, “home is where the heart is.” So I packed up my heart and took it with me to Italy. The past few days of our trip have been too beautiful for words. And while it got off to a rocky start in Capri (if you follow me on Instagram, you probably read about it here), everything worked out for the best. Amber, Duane and the kids were with us to enjoy the sights of Sorrento, Florence, Lake Como, Positano, and Naples. This country is gorgeous. But no matter where you go – you can roam and roam -there’s no place like home.

It’s hard to capture the beauty of the Amalfi coast. It’s something that should be experienced in person. But these photos are a good place to start. The cliffside views and historical architecture inspire the kind of awe that makes it feel like you’re walking through a post card. I feel so enriched by having visited these beautiful places.
