Pose Like a Celebrity in Photos

There was a time where I hated to pose for pictures. It was always a hit or miss for me. There were times where I thought I looked fabulous while other times, I felt like my worst angles were on display. Here’s the thing, looking fabulous in photos isn’t exactly rocket science. Celebrities always look gorgeous in photos and it isn’t just because they look that way normally. A lot of work goes into their poses. They use weird tricks and techniques to get themselves into photo-perfect shapes that keep them looking great in photos. It’s time to find your angle. Read on for some tricks to posing like a celebrity! These tips are guaranteed to make you look great in every snap!

Press Your Tongue- When posing for photos, use your tongue. No, I don’t mean by making a goofy face. Smile or look serious, but do so while pressing your tongue to the roof of your mouth. Doing this elongates your neck and helps to prevent a double chin from getting snapped. Try it out for yourself!

Angle Your Body and Your Face- Angling your body with one foot in front of the other while putting your hands on your hips is one of the oldest tricks in the book. I like angling my arms away from my body when having my hands on my waist feels unnatural. This way, my arms always look slim while I’m getting my picture taken. I also try to angle my face because head-on shots are known to make your face appear wider. Try cocking your head to one side or pushing your chin out a little when someone’s got a camera in your face.

Cross Your Ankles- When you get a full-body picture taken head on, pose by crossing your ankles. Not only does this help to create a unique shape to your body, but it also gives you that gorgeous hour glass figure and helps to make you look taller. I love this trick! So does La La. Check her out below!

Be Sure to Smile!- Smiling for the camera can always be tricky because it often feels forced. The trick? Smile naturally! That means using that one hundred watt smile you use in real life. No more “cheesin’” for the camera. It’s all about being naturally gorgeous.

Now your ready for a picture-perfect pose! Keep up with me on Facebook and Twitter for more!
