The 2020 Academy Awards aired last night! If you were watching all the action, then you saw some major wins like Rene Zellweger for her role in Judy or Parasite, who is the first foreign film to win Best Picture. It was an amazing night, and my eye was on the gowns and dresses. Below are just a few of my favorite looks of the night.

Natalie Portman wore a Dior dress and cape. If you look closely, her cape has the names of female directors who weren’t nominated this year. Natalie has been a champion of women in the industry for years. I love the subtle way she’s promoting female empowerment!
Scarlett Johansson showed off her famously gorgeous figure in an Oscar de la Renta dress.
Florence Pugh, nominated for her role in Little Women wore a turquoise Louis Vuitton gown. This isn’t a common color on the red carpet. I love that she tried something different!
Brie Larson‘s dress is the ultimate Oscars look. She probably felt amazing in this Celine designed gown. Check it out below!
