The beautiful and talented Emilia Clarke was one star who stood out to me on the red carpet during the Golden Globes. The Game of Thrones actress debuted her new blonde locks on the red carpet for the first time, but I couldn’t help but notice her pretty makeup. She paired her black Miu Miu dress with some thick liner and hot pink lipstick. Love it! See the full makeup look created by makeup artist Jillian Dempsey below.
Get Emilia Clarke’s Golden Globes Look with Motives® Dupes
Beautiful, no? As much as I love the look Jillian created on Emilia; I wanted to share ways you can wear this makeup look with Motives® dupes. Read on to get Emilia’s look with the help of Motives®.
Face
- Start off with your favorite primer and moisturizer to prep the face. This look is super matte, so primer is essential.
- Move on to makeup. Use your fingers to apply a matte foundation. I’d aim for Motives® Illuminating Liquid Foundation. It’s got a matte finish but helps make the skin glow. It’s like a second skin type of foundation.
- Add some concealer underneath the eyes and on any dark spots or blemishes.
- Use a cream contour to give your face the ultimate contoured look. I’d use Motives® Mavens Sculpt Series. If you’re as light as Emilia, use the Fire kit. It has got neutral tones, so your contour looks natural. Remember to blend, blend, blend.
- Powder your face to keep that matte finish intact.
Eyes
- Add Motives® Eye Base all over the eyelid.
- Use a light pink shimmer shade all over the lid with a shader brush.
- Add a neutral brown shade into the crease of the eye. Make sure to blend well for a natural effect.
- Apply a cream shimmer shade to the inner corner of the eye and under the eyebrow bone.
- Add some black liquid liner and flick it out for a cat eye.
- Emilia’s not wearing fake lashes so be sure to add plenty of mascara to your lashes instead! My favorite? Motives® Fiber Lush Mascara, of course.
- Fill in those brows and brush them up with a brow gel.
Lips
- Finally, apply a hot pink shade to the lips! I’m a fan of our Motives® Mineral Lipstick formula. Aim for shade Pink Berry!
