My girl Jennifer Lopez looked so beautiful on the red carpet of the Latin Grammy Awards in Las Vegas. And while she changed a few times that night, my favorite look of her was the Zuhair Murad Couture burgundy lace jumper. She was head-to-toe perfection with her honey blond hair loose and shiny as well as her stunning makeup.
I spoke to makeup artist Mary Phillips from L’Oreal Paris who worked on this look with JLo to help you replicate it at home. Read on for the inside scoop!

Get the Look: Jennifer Lopez at the Latin Grammy’s
“If you saw the super sexy, sheer, deep maroon, beaded jumper that fit her like a glove, the stick straight hair parted down the center, and the glowing radiant skin with subtlety faded hues on her eyes, cheeks and lips, you might infer that we as the glam squad instantly thought about the most modern 70’s beauty possible,” Phillips said. “If you did, you’d be right. That era of aesthetics is one of my absolute and all-time favorites for various reasons. There’s something so effortlessly aspirational, yet untouchable, about that time period; I’m continually pulling references for ideas from that decade. We kept her super chic, completely stunning.”

To start off, Mary achieved the cleanest canvas by using the L’Oréal Paris Bright Reveal Peel Pads ($19.99).
- For a brightening sheen Mary applied the L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Bright Reveal Day Moisturizer SPF 30($19.99).
- For foundation, Mary mixed a few different shades of the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation($12.99). The lightweight but creamy foundation leaves a natural dewy finish.
- To give the face some definition, she used the L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro Contour Palette($12.99) which comes with the pro-sculpt brush which allows you to “define, sculpt, and enhance your features like a pro.” She used the darker shades along the jawline, underneath the cheekbones, on the temple and hairline of the forehead and along the nose.
- To highlight, she applied the True Match LUMI Liquid Glowin Golden using a beauty blender in the center of the forehead, nose, directly above the jawline, and underneath the brow bone as well.
- For a natural flush, Mary used her ‘holy grail’ blush the L’Oréal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Blushin Spiced Plum C7-8 ($10.95) on the apples of the cheeks for a fresh pop of color.
- As for the eyes, Mary used the L’Oréal ParisColor Riche Pocket Palette in Boudoir Charm ($9.99) to give Jennifer’s eyes a soft, sensual base for a smoky eye.
- Using the L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Liner Noir($9.99) she applied a very, very thin line to the top lashes only, and concentrated on made the line a little fuller towards the ends.
- For full but subtle lashes, as Mary did not want to distract from the lips, she used the Voluminous Feline Mascara($8.99) by gently coating the lashes from root to tip.
- To fill in the brows and give them a more sculpted yet natural look, Mary used the L’Oréal Paris Brow Stylist Kit.
- To finish the look, Mary lined the lips with L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Lip Linerin Toffee To Be. To top it off she used the NEW! L’Oréal Paris Infallible Lip Paints in Nude Star and Spicy Blush ($9.99) to create the perfect pinkish nude.
