Actors and filmmakers made their way to the Critic’s Choice Awards this Sunday in Santa Barbara, California. Plenty of actresses and actors arrived to the award’s show dressed to the nines, but only one actress really stood out to me by showing off her baby bump. Liv Tyler chose to throw maternity style rules out the window by wearing a black cape-sleeved gown, complete with a high slit.
This is the first awards show the Leftovers actress has attended since announcing her pregnancy. I appreciate how Tyler chose to play with her style despite her baby bump. It shows that she’s unafraid of breaking maternity style rules, opting for a look that speaks to her personality instead. She took a risk with that high slit but it paid off tremendously. She makes for a gorgeous pregnant woman and I can’t wait to check out her other maternity looks as award season continues. Congrats Liv!
