Is it just me or do teen shows have more fun when it comes to fashion? According to a new Glamour article, this couldn’t be truer. Shows like Grown-ish and Riverdale have more fun with style because their characters are young and—well, jobless. I know it sounds strange, but think about it! Teens don’t have rules of dressing a certain way at the office and can get away with anything,” says Linda Wilks, founder of Worn on TV.

Instead, stylists play with what their characters wear. “The characters are written larger than life which gives me, the designer, the opportunity to dress them larger than life too,” says Riverdale designer Rebekka Sorensen-Kjelstrup. “Either that’s how I used to dress or how I wanted to dress, but I couldn’t afford it or was scared to.” I love it, and I can relate! I remember when Amber so wanted to dress like the girls on Gossip Girl when she was younger. Read the full article here.
