This summer, I expected to see huge sunglasses make a comeback. Instead, fashion girls and influencers alike are all rocking tiny sunglasses. From Kendall Jenner to Simi and Haze Khadra. All the it-girls are rocking this vintage inspired trend. They’re definitely reminiscent of sunglasses worn in the 50s and early 2000s. Rihanna was even spotted on the Cannes 2017 red carpet wearing these early 2000s-inpired glasses. Could this become a serious red carpet trend in the coming months? I guess only time will tell!
What are my thoughts on this new trend? I’m definitely a fan of my giant sunnies, but I’m happy to see a new twist on this early 2000s trend. It’s unique, and these it-girls are rocking these sunnies in a ways that’s chic and almost Parisian-inspired.
