We are just a few days away from International Convention in Greensboro. Which means I’m planning my outfits and getting ready to take the stage, hoping to inspire the thousands of entrepreneurs who will be there to really go forward and take action on their goals. But taking the stage in front of thousands of people requires the right outfit. They say women dress for each other, and that’s partly true. But it is also true that when I dress for MAIC, I dress for myself. I dress for the woman I want to represent. I dress for the woman I hope to continue to be. And I dress for the woman I hope to inspire.
There’s a certain pride and confidence that comes with taking care of yourself and choosing something to represent you to the world in the way you see yourself. That’s the beauty of true fashion – it can empower and inspire you in ways that are hard to explain but so very easy to see. Before MAIC 2016, I’ve been reminiscing on some of those past moments. Here’s a look back at some of my outfits from past MAIC events. I can’t wait to show you what I’ve got in store for this year. See you all soon. xo
