Online Business Courses to Help You Be an Entrepreneur

online business courses

LinkedIn Learning has only been around for about two years, but it’s already leading the pack of online course repositories. LinkedIn partnered with Lynda.com and serves up their content, which includes thousands of courses spanning the business, technology and creative fields. There are currently 134 courses focused on entrepreneurship. I’ve added some of my favorites below for you to check out.

Check out These Three Courses All About Entrepreneurship:

1. Entrepreneurship Foundations

Learn about everything from finding your big idea, to determining whether you have a business or a hobby, finding your first customer, and writing your business plan. The course also guides you on how to build a financial model, bootstrapping your business, hiring the right people, marketing your business and everything in between. This 2 hour course is led by keynote speaker, best-selling author, and performance coach Whitney Johnson.

2. Entrepreneurship: Raising Startup Capital

Allo-Media’s Chief Financial Officer Rudolph Rosenberg leads the way with Entrepreneurship: Raising Startup Capital. In under two hours’ time, you will learn why raising capital is not the only marker of success, how to market your project, and understanding who your investors are. You will also learn the four big sources of capital, what you should include in a business plan, high-liability funding options, how to make crowdfunding part of your strategy, and how to use angel investors. This course is jam-packed with knowledge.

3. Guy Kawasaki on Entrepreneurship

World-famous marketer, social media guru, and entrepreneur Guy Kawasaki (he is the brains behind my favorite easy-to-use graphic design tool Canva!) leads this quick interview-style course (it’s only 14 minutes long). The class packs a punch covering topics like focusing on how to pitch successfully, the value of advice, providing value, and predicting new markets and opportunities. There’s even a bonus course all about social media.
